I began writing The Tale of the Fire-Breathing Pegacorns in 2012, during a snowy winter in Brooklyn. Life carried me elsewhere, and the story rested for more than a decade. When new AI illustration tools emerged, the world I had been holding finally had a way to take form. The book was completed and published twelve years after it began.

This is the story of Reverie, a girl with flaming red hair, and Lapis, her beloved Pegacorn. Together they journey across a faraway island where starlit flowers glow, crystal towers shimmer, and winged Pegacorns guard an ancient flame. One flight carries them farther than expected — and toward a promise they never knew they would have to make.

The Tale of the Fire-Breathing Pegacorns is a fantasy of devotion, transformation, and the fire we carry when we remember who we truly are.

I’m so excited to finally be in creation mode with my very first cookbook, Cake: Her Love Language.

After 20+ years as a private chef, chocolatier, and founder of my own catering company, plus years spent running kitchens across Hawaii, this book became the place where all my favorite desserts wanted to gather.
